International Dot Day is celebrated on September 15th. It is a day meant to encourage students to be creative, curious, and brave. Our Preschoolers had a great time celebrating and making their mark! We created a bundle of activities that includes lots of dots! Children designed their own bookmarks making tiny dots and created big dots by splashing different colors on paper, finger-painted dots on fabric, counted dots on the light table and made a collage of dots with different textures. We also read out the story “The Dot” which they absolutely loved and ended the day with a super fun scavenger hunt for hidden DOTs in the school.
